Whether its mileage plus programs or shopping points, almost all credit cards have some type of spending reward. Today you have the option to use a “Green Card” which let’s you save the planet as you shop. What could be better than that?

The two main types of Green Cards are Carbon Offset and Affinity Cards. Carbon Offset cards invest a percentage of the purchases you make to emissions reduction efforts such as methane capture and reforestation. Affinity cards donate a small percentage for every dollar you spend to nonprofit organizations associated with the card.
